CONTRACTOR WORKSHOPS
The LESS LAMENESS workshop is a three day, intensive workshop, specially designed for hoof paring contractors, aspiring contractors, advisors or anyone who is wanting to take their hoof care to the next level.
The LESS LAMENESS workshop was developed by the leading hoof care professionals to deliver the highest standard of training to the next generation of professional trimmers.
Giving sheep producers confidence that the hoof paring contractor they employ is there to deliver the best results possible, and NOT to just "Get through the numbers" resulting in more lameness and additional costs to producers.
Covering topics from- Hoof Anatomy, equipment options, proper maintenance and therapeutic trimming methods, infection management, record keeping, industry standards, hoof genetics and MUCH MORE!
Participants in this workshop will get extensive, real-world experience trimming ewes, rams and managing infection- upon successful completion of this course participants will be issued AISHC's certificate of competency, and their contact details listed on the AISHC's website as a "Certified Trimmer" under the Less Lameness framework
